My advice would be see if mr Chris Wilson will do another group buy on his smics. They are truely excellent quality and will last longer than the car probably. A tad expensive but defo worth the money. I managed to get one second hand thanks to SPG.

Yep I heard good thing about their stuff I was ready to order when my CW one turned up for salereadyrads.jpg

Most if not all original smic's will be scrap, there all 12 - 20 years old now !

The fins on mine at 12 years old crumbled to dust when touched.

You could try Ready Rads in B'ham http://www.readyrads.co.uk, i've had

radiators done by them and always had a top job done

Whifbitz do and oem upgrade £400 looks really good. But i have a low mileage oem in the loft, waiting to go on the car , they are about, you pick up a nice condition oem cooler. I paid £80 because no one wanted it at the time , got to be £150-200 all day long, done 45-50k

Didint look this good when i bought it, but i must have 2 maybe 3 hours on it, straightening fins, give a very light coat of paint and cleaning / flushing it through to get all the oil crap out of it

Yes I'd be quite happy with one in that condition ;)
