Finally got my TT6 - Pics

So I've owned 2 NA-5's and a TT-Auto but this is my first TT6 :)

Picked it up this evening and wow what a car..!

It needs some work here and there but overall the condition is pretty good. On the way home we made the following list of bits that need attention before I start work on BPU -

Front splitter cracked

Handbrake button - This is a bit odd, think its a drift thing.

Elbow box lid has a big crack in it

Recarro bolsters need a refurb as they're heavily worn

Front spolier not working

Rear light bulb warning on

Traction control light on

Breather pipes in engine seem to have come from a garden hose

Front lights plastic needs a polish

Top glove box stuck closed

Replace aerial as wonky

Car audio needs upgrading

Replace steering wheel with OEM

Mechanically everything seems sound except there does seem to be some clunking going on at lower speeds and changing gears is a little clunky especially in to 2nd and third.

Not sure what wing that is?

Wheels are lovely TRD Magnesium jobs

Exhaust is stainless, not sure of make but its very quiet

Will have a proper poke around it tomorrow :nana: and take some better photos.

Cheers guys, im really pleased with it. Yeah it needs a few bits here and there but I can see it being really sorted once i've spent some time on it.

Not sure yet on the wing, I had planned to swap it back to stock but its kind of growing on me. I'll leave that till last and see how i feel then :)

As to the clunking, after doing some reading it appears facelift engine mounts are shit and I got a feeling its them that are causing the noise at lower speeds. Once its moving it runs sweet with no knocking. It doesn't sound like a job i'd like to try on the drive way so if anyone can recommend a garage Dorset/Hampshire way please let me know and i'll get them to put new ones in.

Cheers

Looks like the heater matrix is taking its supply from the front of the engine, the pipe that goes into the top of the radiator ?

No idea what its doing to be honest. If I get some more pics maybe you clever sticks can tell me what its doing and what i need to do to put it back to stock...?
