Clarkey
Hi .. However, much to my misfortune I've just found out that my Stock Flywheel is absolutely, positively fcuked! Found this out when my RPS clutch was being replaced So abit peeved! I want replace it with a stock flywheel .. I'm not keen on the lightened flywheels. For those people that have lightened flywheels - what has been your experience with them day-to-day driving ? I know that it allows higher RPM due to the lightened rotational mass of the flywheel but is noisy and gives a lumpy idle so to combat this the idle is raised at the ECU. Maybe a long shot but does anybody have stock flywheel that is in good working order that they want to sell ?
cashpoint
Got an RPS lightweight flywheel in mine. Noise is only a problem when it get's hot, but dipping the clutch shuts it up The first thing i noticed was i had to rev higher when pulling out of the parking space when i pick up the car (stalled it 3 times getting out but had a street max clutch put in at the same time so may have been me ) Driving the changes i noticed were didn't make much difference when not on boost once the turbo's where on line it made a noticeable improvement to acceleration when slowing down under engine braking the car would slow and stop quicker. As chance would have it I have an RPS lightweight flywheel for sale if you want it.
