Painting lettering on spark plug cover.

Starting my spark plug cover today, that's going to be red. Obviously the writing will just be sprayed over, but once it's dry I'd like the paint the wording black, I'm not sure I could trust myself with a paintbrush though.

Has anyone else done the wording a different colour once sprayed and how did you do it? I was thinking maybe a tiny roller (if you can buy those) or is that a stupid idea?image

I think the only way to guarantee accuracy would be to use a (fine) model brush and a small tin of paint. I think a roller would cause runs and or drips and there'd be no easy way of masking it up.

Take your time and I'm sure it'll be fine! :)

Decided not to paint the lettering as I didn't want to ruin it, might be brave at a later date. This is my engine bay now those few things are done

Still got a few bits and bobs to paint, there's scrubbing to do and I'm waiting on my new red hoses :) also I need to find a battery cover.
