Project: LHD US spec TRD3000 Big Twin HKS 6 speed

Hi Guys.

ive been away from the supra world the last 2 years , needed a brake. now im back with 2 supras. this one that im building and a stock EU spec LHD ( one of them must sell when im done, but cant decide what to keep)

Anyways. Here some info about the car.

Toyota Supra . US spec LHD 6 speed box and diff.. Big Twin HKS turbos. producing around 830hp now ..

The car had a little damage in the rear from the previous owner he reversed into a metal . so the trunk and rear plate was changed.

and since i LOVE TRD kit i decided to install it on this one. with some little differences.

The Car shell was an NA but everything else is from a TT

The body got some sealing all over the place. winter protection , even though it will never drive in rain or snow haveaniceday.png but it looks nice and safe. '

Battery is going to be moved in the trunk. i cut the side out and build a metal box so that the battery cAN "HIDE" in there.

I cut the fenders and welded them together higher so that there is enough space for the big wheels.

then Body coat on it all. sealing and so on.

A HOOK is importnent .. you never know haveaniceday.png the rear fender got modified to fit.

BUT BUT BUT, it HAD to bi WIDER. so i decided to move front fenders and rear fendes more outwords to get a wider TRD kit. i did that by usiing 2 fenders and building them together.

The TRD kit got build on the car with 2 komponent glue in the inside. and to have extra protection i use fiberglass matts and polyester to reinforce it all so it doesnt get no cracks in the future.

WELL THIS TIME I DECIDED TO DO A CLEAN ENGINE BAY. CLOSE ALL THE HOLES AND BUILD A RING FOR THE INTERCOOLER PIPE . WAS ONLY A HOLE BEFORE. THE RING NOW GOES 3CM LOWER. LOOKS BETTER.

there is nothing better then the pick up from the paintshop. especially if the color is really good.

I got a " Go for it" from the TÜV guy to remove the abs so i need to build new brake lines.

some of them will go inside the car and out so the engine bay stays clean. the samewith theengine loom. new hole for it.

Ive got some adjuable suspention not in the hight since i dont need that but how hard / soft it shouldbe.

ït needs new ruffers. so we are cleaning it. coloring it. and changing the rubbers.

The brakes get the same treatment. new rubber protectors. pads. discs. the calibers got colored black.

The discs in front were almost new. i only colored them. the eu brake calipers were not so good so i decided to buy new calipers from toyota. looks better now since everything is new

we reinforced the exhaust in the middle so it doesnt move that much.

but some how the old mickey thompsons were higher even though the profile was the same. they are both 265.40.18 but with 1.5cmdifference. weird

any one knows why??
