As I've some time off, I thought I'd finally get round to wiring up the stereo.

So far.....

1. Focal 165V2 components up front (and what a pain in the ass it is getting cables into the doors !!! But I got there, albeit with a little less skin than I started with and the odd frown from a neighbour due to bad language  ;) )
2. Focal 165CA coaxials in the rear
3. Alpine V12 amps (F407 for front and rears, T707 for subs)
4. 2 Audiobahn 8" subs in seperate boxes. I just lifted these out of my MR2, so they are loose in the boot at the mo.
5. Alpine CVA-800R head unit, already in when I bought the car.

How does it sound ? pretty damn horny. Okay the subs aren't gonna register on the richter scale, but the overall sound 'quality' of the install is outstanding.

So another thumbs up for the Focals courtesy of a certain someone in Maidstone ;)

Next job ? Custom build me a box for the subs, and a false floor for the amps (currently screwed to the back of the rear seat). But happy as larry for now as the sound is

Now all you need is a PXA-H700 to make the most of everything :D

I was actually thinking something should go in the dash above the C800R instead of the CD holder - plus I have had one minor drama with the install  expect an email mate ;)

Bought from a company called Evil Ice couple of years ago. Price was good and service too, but I can't find any detail on them now. Maybe gone bust ?!? Not very helpful I know :(
