Hi all,

Names Rich, I'm new to the forum and Supra Ownership, but I have finally managed to get my hands on my first MkIV Supra.

Previous Car was a Mk1 1.8l Mazda MX-5 that I had rebuilt from the ground up (Full engine overhaul, Polybushed, Diff, lots of welding etc, etc)

All built with the intention of drifting it, but along came my need for a Supra :)

My full build thread on Driftworks here.

Anywho, back to the Supra.

She is a 1993 J-Spec NA Auto, fitted with 18x8" Fox RS Alloys and Lexus 4 Pot front Calipers and purchased from fellow forum member ShaunPreece

My Plans so far;

  • General tidy up
  • Interior tidy and paint plastics back to black
  • Suspension and brakes overhaul

Thats all for now, I have only managed to give her a bath so far.

Interior is not really my taste but it is first on my to do list....

Welcome, nice supra! Most of us remove those HKS filters as the stock box + filter is much better, id invest in a new filter from Toyota for around £25 over the mushroom.

Thanks dude, I have read that the Airbox is better, but think I will stick with it for now and see how we get on :)

I decided to bin the HKS Induction Kit for now, all in favour of a new HKS pannel filter

And boy did it need it lol

Whilst i was there I checked levels etc. engine could do with a full service and the bay could do with a spruce up also...

The dreaded interior... Eek!

Actually kinda like the Red but the White has to go for sure...

tidy project you got your self there mate. finally got mine on the road as a rolling project my self. never seen a red dash before, looks mental! who ever had that put some time into it. the white paint should come off easy with some thinners, or you could just rub it down with some wet'n'dry an use it as a base coat. change the white and go back to black, but a gloss black, or maybe metallic black. think it would look tidy. looking at changing the color on mine my self. keep us updated with pics :)

Made a start on the Interior, will be keeping the Red for now as its going to be an absolute mission to remove it all (and I frankly cant be bothered to spray it all black)

Anywho, the White is coming off, so made a start with the centre console trim and arm rest,

The arm rest being re-trimmed in a Suede material once the fabric lands.

Stripped of all the White paint,.

Filled the random hole and primered...

Then the end result, looks loads better already, really chuffed with how it turned out,
