Stereo harnes and brakes question

Greetings everyone,

I have 2 questions this time:

1) I have this plug in the car (See pic) which goes directly in to stock cassete player. I checked the forum and Halfords and I can`t find a harness/adaptor for the one here to go to my new head unit. Does any one know what is the description or "name" of that standard is and where to find the bugger? (my new stereo has got a little black 16 pin plug (Kenwood))

2) Are hand brake shoes on JSpec and UKSpec the same?

P.S. If any one wants a stock radio with bon jovi tape in it please PM. If I hear "Im a cowboy, on the steel horse I ride, Im wanted dead or alive".... (Radio band is only up to fm 90) =))

Thank you.

PC2-17-4 for cars without stock amp

pc9-406 for cars with stock amp (premium sound, amp under passenger seat)

Google really isnt a dark art.

if you still struggle, a pin out below:

Make sure the cable you have pictured isnt for a CD changer or whatever.

Thanks Ric I found plenty of plugs like you ilustrated but non like the one in my car. It appears to be noone had a plug like that. Pitty will have to cut it off and just wire it to the euro harness. Didnt want any cut wires in my car though.

Does any one know the answer for the hand brake shoes? Are they the same?

Thank you.
