Hi guys, have been a fan of the site for years.

Always had an itch to buy a supra, no matter what I bought it wouldn't go away.

So after a few quick diesels, a Bmw, an evo 6, a prodrive sti scooby, I have finally got round to my supra.

I have just bought a new house and have 3 kids bouncing round so everything is on a very tight budget for now.

The dream is a gun-metal grey tt6. Not after a ridiculous hp monster, something round the 350-400bhp mark for everyday driving.

So I'm cutting my teeth on a cheaper fixer-upper.

The car is mechanically sound, it has been off the road for nearly a year.

A good clean and a battery charge saw it sail through the mot.

Externally it needed a bit of tidying. The rims were badly tarnished, front splitter and bumper were rough and the whole car was in desperate need of a buffing.

To date, I reprayed the bumper, splitter and rims. Also buffed the whole car, came up very well.

I'm not happy with the wheel colour, I wanted a lighter gunmetal grey, but it's hard to pick colours out of those colour charts! It looked lighter in the book, but in reality it looks black. Going to do them again, possibly in a matt finish titanium like the new Audi rotor-arm alloys.

When spraying the bumper, I also refurbished the j-spec lights as they were pretty hazed.

Thanks to the detailed guides on here it wasn't too big a job. The lenses cleaned up nicely (plasticX) and I sprayed the inserts black while I was at it. Have ordered hids, will hopefully fit them this week.

The standard radio was buggered so I bought a cheap double din touch screen off eBay. Again, thanks to the guides on here it was handy enough to fit.

That's pretty much as far as I've got.

To-do list:

Standard exhaust to be replaced

Standard suspension is a bit crashy, might go for a set of tein streets

Might change the wheels to a set of rota grid drifts

Bomex bumper and skirts

Leather or facelift front seats

Induction kit

Clear or led front indicators

That's about it. Don't want to spend too much money on it as being a N/a it will never be worth Tt money, so I would rather save up, get a tt6 and spend millions on it! Lol

Will get photos up shortly, the ones on my phone are too big to upload.
