What type of indicator bulb in fog light?

I drilled the hole out slightly on mine, so the standard size bulb fitted and wedged the bulb in there lol not the neatest but it works ;)

 

So just to clarify, you used the standard orange indicator bulb from the indicator? If so What attachment did you use at the back to actualy attach the bulb to the headlight?

Also do you find it's bright enough?

H3 amber bulbs you are after. I've seen LED versions in China.

 

So is "h3" the fog light bulb then?

It passed the mot but tbh i personally dont think its bright enough, especially on a bright day, i just wedged it in tbh, i know not much help right il try and sort a few pics over the weekend

If so, it must be a coincidence. I just like the letter/number combo :D

 

Any brightness should be OK as long as it's visible. The MOT is very lax in this area, as long as the indicator signal can be seen from any 120 degree angle, its a pass (that's off the top of my head from 2004 though :D)
