Hi all,

Had a bad weekend, just discovered that the bottom of my front left coilover is broke at the bushing, and they are Tom's Racing. Was thinking about getting the new Tein Street flex, has anyone ever got these or are they any good as i have had Tein mono flex in my altezza and they were amazing. Some people are telling me to go for BC's and other brands but im not sure what to get.

Im hoping you guy's will be able to give me your opions!!

Personally I would stay away from Tein, had them on my sup for six months and didn't like them apart from that they were already showing signs of corrosion. Had KW's on a calibra years ago and they were good and have driven a mates supra with a Chris Wilson setup and that was very good and well worth the price!

Internally, where it matters, the valving in Bilsteins compared to the valving in BC, Tein, or other low end dampers, is like the difference between a Chinese bicycle and the Space Shuttle.

The chroming on the piston rods is better, the seals are better, the whole design is better. they last longer, are re-buildable, customizable, and TUV approved. They are also used on a myriad of high end cars as stock. They have a pedigree of racing and rallying going back many decades. In thirty years I have had two come back under warranty. I have skipped so many Tein,, HKS, Tom's and other cheap dampers due to knocking, leaking, breakage and corrosion the scrap man loves me.

There are better dampers than Bilstein. There are no cheaper and better dampers though, in my honest and professional opinion.
