The carpet was a gross stained grey. I stripped the interior completely so i could clean all the pieces individually. Also removed the carpet. I dont have before pics, but here are the pics of the carpet after a deep clean and having it soaked in RIT DYE for a week. As you can see the results where bad mainly because i didnt use the correct method.

So at this point i sent the car to the panelbeater to fit and paint the kit which, as mentioned in my other thread, was not done even though the car was with him for 3 months or so [ANGRY][/ANGRY] .

At this point i picked the car up and its been in my garage since. I have now put the OEM skirts and rear bumper on until i find someone trust worthy to fit the other goodies.

Pics

1&2 TRD spoiler also fitted but not yet painted.

3 boot cleaned and refitted

4 boot cover sprayed with DUPLICOLOR VINYL AND FABRIC (BLACK). big improvement with little fuss !!

5 entire rear passenger seat and plastics cleaned and put back together.

i suspect the car has been sitting outside for a very long time (before i owned it) and the grime thats in all the nooks and crannies is pissing me off. my OCD has kicked in quite badly [sHOCK][/sHOCK]

  • 1 year later...

car went back in to a 3rd body shop to have the oem bumpers put on and resprayed.

ill be keeping it oem as i hate the maintenance factor of FRP. will add a front lip at some point. either the active spoiler or an rmm lip or similiar. very very disappointed with the outcome as i would love to have my supra in an aggressive bodykit style but just not worth the hassle of dealing with fibreglass and im not going to pussy foot my car around just for the sake of the bumpers.

Mind the dirty state of my car. I took it out of my warehouse after a few months.

Cricky quiet a transformation from when you first bought the car, well done indeed.

Looked really good, but sorry to see you have had issues with the body work.

Great thread though from your side, always good to see far a field projects.

Look forward to the future updates ;)

XSpower T61 NA-T turbo kit kit for 2jzge

these kits have mixed reviews and at the price, im willing to take the chance to push it to see the limits.

anywhere between 500BHP and 700BHP ill be happy and will stop there. 8)

the manifold is braced and quite thick and sturdy but time will tell how it holds up. does look rather nice.
