The car came with a blitz BOV and hasnt had the stock one removed. Now I understand it should be. From my limited knowledge it looks like it has one pipe going to it blocked off and the other one still on. Now the annoying bit is when im on about 10% throttle (no +ve boost yet on guage) it leaks/wooshes. On full boost (full decat) it goes to about 11psi which i think is standard...but should got a bit higher. Perhaps the stock bov is preventing this.

This is a pic of the blitz bov. Has it all been blocked up inside? Anyone tell me whats going on here.....

Same setup as mine....you can leave original in situ, but not like yours has been. The two large hoses on the original bov should be connected whilst the small hose is re-routed to the blitz bov.

I take it the small pipe on the side of the blitz one isnt what you mean then.

From conversations I've had with other people another option could be to take off the stock one and seal up the 3 pipes going to it....

Oh, does that blitz bov look ok...(i know nothing :p)

The oil contamination on you air intake pipe could indicate (to me) that oil mist is being blown past the stock BOV which would indicate that it is activating. I think you need to either reconnect it, or bung up the other large pipe and the small boost pipe at the top.

Never seeen this before BTW.

Difficult to see....you probably have had the small pipe re-routed okay from looking at pics again. They have capped one of the original large pipes properly - i first thought it had just been cut. I'm not sure why the original bov has the small pipe connected might be worth looking at where that trails of to.

Looks to me like whoever did it just turned the stock BOV through 180deg so that it's plumbed in the wrong way round. Odd. The vac reference hose still being attached is bizarre as well, maybe someone converted it to an atmospheric dump valve just by removing the return hose. But they had to extend the vac reference hose because it was turned through 180deg, I don't understand the thinking behind this

Best just to cap all three points and remove the stock one rather than this effort. You're getting a lot of PCV oil spray so it shows the stocker is still opening.

Cant be sure but that looks like the old style blitz, which TBH were awful. If it is the old style, I would just reconnect the stocker, and do away with the blitz.
