I've been on this forum for a while but have never posted due to not owning a supra.

Recently I've been finding the call harder and harder to resist, so I'm now going to bite the bullet and start looking to buy one, first I have to get the bike sold or if I get lucky some one may want to do a swap.

I'm going to be looking for a tt manual and will hopefully have around £6k to play with.

Now my question is will that be a good budget to find a decent base car ?? I'd really like to get a car that hasn't been played with so I can get it exactly how I want without any unknown factors coming into play.

Are there any common thing that I should worry about/look closely at when viewing potential cars ?

Thanks for any input.

Brad

With £6K you will need to live on ebay-autotrader-pistonheads 24/7 for a year to even have a chance of a TT manual......and probably still come up empty handed.

This. They do come up once in a blue moon but they will need lots of work to get them back up to scratch, only worth it if you are mechanically competant and do the work yourself.
