Is it possible to fit a J Spec (Blitz Access) ECU into a UK Spec car?

Thanks

The first problem I can see is that the JDM one won't be set up to run a MAF sensor, so no, unless you can get it reprogramed. But first you need to find out if it can support the MAF sensor

Probably more hassel than it's worth. I know nothing about it.

There is one on ebay at the moment, £50 so far. Seems like a good buy if it stays at that, but i doubt it will.

Why does that ECU have an extra black wiring block??

That's a metal tang that slots into a hole in the bulkhead...

Does that ECU completely replace the stock ECU then, or does it sit piggyback to the stock unit?

Or, if it replaces the stock one, will you need a fuel computer to go with it?

Completely replaces it and does who-knows-what with the fuelling, timing, rev limit etc. :D

Deffo don't use a piggyback, if you are going to use an airflow fudger then stick with a stock ECU as a base.
