View Full Version : Racelogic with three wheelspeed sensors
On my dragracer I have a difflock, so the differential will be locked when going straight (100% lockup). I don't have space on the wheel hubs to mount wheelspeed sensors, but I thought, since there is already a difflock, I can use one speed sensor on the output shaft of the transmission. Like the mk3 ABS system. Am I missing something? Or is this correct? The Racelogic unit should work with three wheel speed sensors, or not?

I will check my manual but I am I think you can use just three inputs by wiring two channels to the same sensor.
I know it supports a 3 sensor system as I read that a couple of nights ago, but as I've got a 4 wheel system I didn't read the section :)

Just put 2 sensors 180 degrees apart "reading" the same trigger wheel.
I can put both rear speed sensor signals on one sensor, or not?

Why not, witha spool type diff bothe half shafts permanently turn at the same speed anyway, so both sensors, should you use 2, would see exactly the same signal, so just use one trigger wheel, and put both the sensors on that one wheel...

Here are the two pages from the instructions...
Looks like you just use one sensor at the rear.
