So I bought myself a couple of tins of this plastidip online and give it ago on my stock 17" wheels. Here's a few pictures first time I have used it, Its quite nice to use. Thought after the first coat I had knacked it up but if you spray a little to much on one spot it drys even. Only got 2 done and will do the other 2 tomorrow.

Washed the wheel with water first.

Then used some of this.

Covered the tyre.

First coat then left to dry for 10 mins.

Second coat.

Third coat and left this for 30 mins then put it back on the car.

Back on the car, not the best of photo (iPhone) and its dark out but looks a lot better in person.

Good thing about this stuff is it can be removed. :)

It's quite hard to get a decent photo of the colour. Well it is when it's not very bright and it's parked right next to a building haha but you get the idea. Will try and get a better one when it's nice and sunny and it's been cleaned. Ignore the stuff on the tyre, that's just overspray where I've been too lazy to remove it.

I bought mine from https://www.liquidcarwraps.co.uk/shop they've got some great colours!

Cheers. How many aerosols did you buy to do the 4 wheels? Or is one enough.

I like your thinking!

Must be a real pain getting the overspray off the inner arches etc. though surely?

It comes of with easy just use their chemical thinners they sell.

Brill thanks. Was that 2 spray cans of 400ml?

If you want to do the inner part of the alloy aswell I'd buy 3 cans
