I'm currently putting parts together for a turbo itb, they are a very good price, the gsxr 1000 itbs were 500.

Problem is management for the puppies no chance with a piggy so standalone only which makes it quite costly for no real benefit but they sound ace!!

The sound would be a massive benefit!

Chris Wilson says ITBs on turbo cars can really improve throttle response. as part of a big single build, an additional £250 is nothing.

That's interesting, I didn't think there was any advantage to using ITB's with a turbo. Forgive my ignorance but would you still get the distinctive sound using them with a turbo? as the velocity stacks would have to be welded to a plenum so I presume you would lose the noise?
