Anymore information on these BILSTIEN coilovers ? (pics)

Picked up another Supra sometime ago which I'll end up selling off to a guy I know soon.

To my surprise it came up with some adjustable Bilstein coilovers.

I tried to search about them and couldn't come up with much. My mechanic mentioned they are really rare and expensive?

Right now I have ohlins with crazy spring rates, the ride quality is great but it's a bit too much for street purpose.

These don't have adjustable dampening so I'd need to swap the springs.

I'm thinking to changing to these Bilstien's because they ride much smoother.

Any info or anyone know anything about them? I took some pics of the front ones

Chris Wilson sells them. :)

This is what Chris responded to me with:

These are very old, Bilstein used to make them for various Jap cars,

but they went out of the catalogue some time ago. They may only have

sold them in japan, i am not sure. they were good quality, they MAY be

able to be rebuilt if they give trouble, but i would have to check it

out. Not much more I can tell you, sorry. I'd keep them if they are

OK, far better than 99% of the tat out there ;)

I've decided that I'll be keeping these. I've driven on so many Supra coils and these just feel different. Car feels really balanced and smooth on these when going forward, and around turns they feel really nice as well.
