Tsia Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Hi guys, Recently acquired a new Supra that has hybrid twins on it, with an MBC set to 0.9 bar. I'll be fitting my Blitz DSBC soon to poke the boost up a little, as it simply feels lethargic at that level. I've had a little search around but can't seem to find what people believe to be a safe area to up the boost to with 440s & hybrids? Tsia Posted January 15, 2014 Author Share Posted January 15, 2014 Hmm, looks like I'll need bigger injectors sooner than I thought. 0.9 bar is pretty awful (I can only presume because larger turbines + nearly stock boost = pointless?), so I can't see 1.2 bar giving me quite enough power to be satisfied with it. Nic Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) It depends on the spec of the hybrid turbos, if they flow significantly more air than the stock turbos then you could be in danger of running lean above 1bar.
