Hi everyone,

I have been searching the web for a neat ice install and I come up with this

The only thing is that I will have no spare wheel ! What is the good and bad thing of having no spare wheel? I don't think it is needed for MOT?

My own custom designed system utilizes the spare wheel enclosure as part of the design for the 2 JL subs that sit there.

MOT wise - the spare wheel is not necessary for the MOT check.
I think if it is there and is need of replacement , then it can be failed - stand to be corrected though.

Good thing about no spare wheel ?..............have you seen the original spare wheel , it's like something off a 2CV

At least when you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, you'll have something nice to listen to :p

JamesG, I like that thinking.

How about run flat tyres, are they expensive?

I think that looks really good. My space saver doesnt fit over my discs anyway lol. Looks like a neat "cheap" (or should I say) "cost effective"
way of a good looking boot install

Just a quickie, a spare wheel whether slick or new is a non testable item, it only comes into effect if it is underneath the car, ie pug 205 / saxo etc, when its not actually the wheel/tyre itself its just the security of it to the car!
