Blow of valve options

I know this has been talked about in recent post and I'm sure I've read that this one is the best for holding the pressure, HKS Racing Blow-Off Valve. Is this the one that has been mentioned before in this link?

Also I've been looking at these blow of valves and can't decide between the two! It's a Turbosmart Raceport BOV.

I know people have there own views on these things but i want to include one in my build. :)

What spec Supra is it to fit?

On a stock turboed Supra I'd use an HKS SSQV Supra specific kit, this includes all the parts and fittings to replace the stock BOV http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php/hks-1490.html

On a single turboed Supra a universal HKS SSQV BOV with a universal boss welded onto the IC hard pipes.

It's going to be for a single turbo build I'm doing, this is a link to my build thread -

Ive got the hks racing one on mine cant tell you what its like yet though. Pretty sure they are the best though that's why I got it, I did have a hks ssqv at first.

Have to let me know what it's like once you've driven the car a bit, I'm sure Jamie said something about these ones being best out of the HKS series especially on higher power supra's running higher boost etc.

I ran one of the older HKS Racing BOV's on mine but I got it for a steal, a standard universal HKS SSQV would be more than up to the job and are very reliable (as long as it's a genuine one).

Would the HKS SSQV be ok on something running 500 to 600bhp as that's where I'm hoping to be?

Yes it'll be fine, they use a pull type 2 stage valve so it does really matter how much boost you run with them, just make sure it's a genuine one as there are loads of cheap ebay knock offs about now.
