Hello all

I have been thinking for quite a while about selling my current motor ...a gt4 st205 ... which i have really enjoyed owning since 2008 :D

Came to the conclusion that it would either be a supra tt /mitsubish gto tt... or a 300zx tt .... cars i have always wanted.... but i am a big toyota fan :D

How do the 3 cars compare? ....or do they at all? :p

And with you guys n girls being the experts... what can i expect to pay for things such as a clutch change (auto) ? and other things like cambelt change etc

I know the supra is a very reliable car if looked after properly... i have spared no expense on maintenance for my gt4 so a supra would be treated just the same :D

Officially a fully paid up member of the club :p:D

Might try and get to one of the northwest meets ... Just don't take the mik out of my baby supra ... :D

Been having a good look around the forums and there are quite a few decent cars up for grabs... I would prefer to buy from an OC as generally the cars are cared for properly... Looking at a few posts talking about mpg... & I'm not gonna ask that as I'm no stranger to regular trips to the shell garage... :D not bothered about fill ups ... 2014 will be my 1st year of supra ownership ... The search begins :search:

Cheers... Is the engine and box awkward to work on? ... I'm used to things being a pain such as a clutch change and cam belt change on a st205 it's a lot of messing although clutch can be done with engine in by a specialist I take the car too for everything as I 100% trust them. Can do most the servicing myself as I like a tinker ...:cool:but the big stuff I ll leave to the pro's.

Everything is very accessible tbh a engine or gearbox swap is a simple deal providing you have the right tools (crane etc), working on these cars yourself will save you a whole chunk of money being a big sports prestige garages will "charge" if you know what i mean
