Water in my back end!

Did that get your attention?

I keep getting lots of condensation in the boot of the Supra and wondered if anyone knows what would be the main places to check for leaks? There was about an inch of water in the bottom with the spare wheel

I drained out the water by unplugging the rubber bung, presumably that was the petrol pump power lines. I think I'm going to buy some silica gel packets just to dry it all out. Strip out the back end and wash the car. Climb on in and look for leaks lol

Is it an aerotop dude?

I had water getting in mine, I tracked it down to a body seam behind the back lights. Both sides were leaking.

I sealed it up with silicone, and it's been fine ever since

Check the main tailgate seal first.

What wing/spoiler do you have, some trd uprights are known to fill with water and could

leak into the boot via the bolt holes

Not an aerotop. The rear lights is a very good call, there was moss around the seals when I bought the car. It's possible I haven't got it all out yet.

You want to talcum powder where you think it's getting in as it makes it easier to see

happened to my Supra too and took me a while to finally found the culprit! it's the sealant behind the tail-lamp wall, both left and right sides... just apply some windscreen sealant and all sorted out, no more leaking now and nitemare over!

btw, don't forget to apply some sealant on the tail-lamp grommet too, just to be safe and sure!

Mine did this and it turned out to be the rubber seal around the rear windscreen wiper had hardened and was letting water in so I removed the wiper and it stopped straight away
