As the title reads chaps I'm changing my old boot rubbers and as many of you know the screws in the lower half are s***.

So my question is this how have people got there old ones out successfully?

Hi Matt. I was planning to change my rubbers too but after reading up some where on the forum, you could just remove the top rubbers on the boot lid and placed some washers in between. Boot rattle sorted and cheap and cheerful.

I cut a slot in mine too with a mini hacksaw blade and heated them with a soldering iron. I would cut the slot before attempting undoing with a phillips screwdriver as you'll keep a nice clean slot. You need to be patient if things aren't going well step back and reheat/reassess!
