Either in the dash when its not covered up or otherwise just on the floor outside noting this one is 965 x 330 x 25mm.

 

I'm now lookiing at the smaller one as i think that might be just a tad too big.

+ as its only a minimal charge i dont think i need to protect over charging.

 

Seems to have been tested ok as one of the FAQ states:

Q.Can my panel be left outdoors without a protective covering?

A. Yes. The Pro-Kit panels have been weather protected and can be mounted outdoors. Panels are completely weatherproofed and can withstand ½ inch hailstones, up to 180ºF heat and can operate under 3 inches of snow (on sunny days).
