What harness bar is this?

Alright guys, I have a harness bar already that I don't like. It runs right behind the seats, bolts to the standard front belt holders and IMO is too close to the front seats. I want an option that bolts in to the back not the front.

Does anyone no what make this is?

Don't know that one - but I have a bar in that location without the extra bits...it's made by Abflug....might be worth checking out as an alternative.

I'm sure these would be popular if you could get the dimensions Alex!? Shouldn't be too hard to replicate.

They could be improved really as currently it prevents use of the back seat...as you'd break your neck on it.

Correct!

If you want to even have harnesses, for them to work properly and be safe, they would be hamgimh over the passenger seats as it is.

So in any case, it wouldn't be feasable to have passengers in the back, especially for safety reasons...

I suppose you could keep the rear seat, but you would end up not using it..

for a part time track car? stock belts and rear seats for road, harnesses with the rear seat locked down for track. harnesses are a PITA on road IMHO, especially on a car with such a long bonnet

naturally if you don't need rear seats then that's cool, just saying some might well have a use for that combo, that's all

Tube dimensions for the Abflug bar are 117mm x 33mm + 2 bolt L brackets that I can't get to to measure but you can see in the pics.

By tube dimensions I explicitly mean the length between the flanges (as the actress said to the bishop)

Did you measure the thickness of the flanges ?

Looked to me like 1.5mm. What I can't gauge is the height of the flange. If the bar is 33mm in diameter I would say they are 40-45mm tall.
