Removing a locking wheel nut

So I've lost the locking wheel nut on my supra and I've just bought some new alloys and I'm desperate to fit them.

Anyone know of a clever way to get them off? I've tried those laser removal things from halfords, but they didn't work.

Is there any other way to get them off?? Tricks of the trade ...

please pm if you don't want to broadcast to the world the answer...

I would find a 1/2" drive socket just a tad smaller to smack over it. That's an easy one. to undo.

you might need to grid down the outside to get it to fit into the bore.

I discovered (for me) the trick to the laser reverse screw types is to have them at a slight angle. They wont catch if you screw them dead on. Then use a small strong bar carefully.

Last resort!!

We do weld on 19mm hex nut as a last resort at very high amperage.!!!works always. just try not to damage the paint on your wheels. Irwin's are ok but not always up to the job!!!
