hydro dipping = fake lookalike carbon

carbon wrap = fake lookalike carbon

carbon wrap with clear coat = fake lookalike carbon

carbon skinned = real carbon but no weight saving

carbon part = real carbon

Just thought id clear that up, people seem to forget whats real and whats not.

I have a burning hate for all things fake carbon at the moment, im guilty as my dash panels are wrapped and i hate them.

Simples.

Remove gear knob.

Pull gear surround off.

Undo 5 screws on odo panel. Pull it off.

Pull off dial surround.

(Possibly if it is still there) Undo screw(s) at bottom of main panel, and one top right, then pull it off.

Pull off ignition panel.

Bobs your uncle ;)

It's carbon skinning I'm going to do but wasn't sure if the added thicknesses would cause problems

is there any tutorials on taking the dash out? i dont want to break any clips or out behind the dash panels

Its really simple just work your way from left to right

Annoyingly as I've had some wiring issues, which meant removing the dash panels I can now get them all out in 2 minutes lol did it 4 times in the one day haha that was a fun day

Have done various parts now and it shouldn't be a problem with the thickness as long as you are careful with how many layers of epoxy etc you use.

This is true, but more importantly I must tell you that every time I see you post I get magnum pi music in my head for atleast 30 mins

Usually followed by the A team

Just sayin
