Spent a few hours today polishing this, been meaning to do it since buying it a while ago

Used the same principle as when I did my wheel lips

Very happy with the result, going to try and do the Throttle body and Intake myself over the winter, as this has come out so well

For anybody reading this and in the know, is the badge removable on top of the throttle body, the one that has traction control or something on it

This is how it started, minus the cap

Thanks, well worth the few hours it took:cool:

Yep badge pops off easy , mine was glued on

Thanks Mark:thumbs:

Seem to remeber someone saying no shiny! Slippery slope now ;) Looks great

Well it was sort of forced on me by getting a Transplant with the Turbo side and Cam Covers already polished;)

Very nice, what process did you use to achieve this.

:D

I used a Polishing wheel on a drill and for the tighter areas I used a Dremel and about half a tube of Autosol

I then finished it off with Britmax polish and sealer, I might put a couple of layers of Poorboy's Wheel sealant on it as well

Looking really nice. How hard is it to maintain, without being chromed?

It's just a case of a light re polish now and again and keeping the coat of sealant topped off

Hopefully:taped:
