Hi guys,

i'm new to the site and need some advice prior to purchasing some new 19's:

(a) Best tyre sizes for front and rear to maintain the best ride whilst minimsing the change in geometry

(b) Every car that has new wheels without lowering looks like a roller skate (no offence to anyone whose car might be like this), therefore what is the best drop to suit the above

© Any preference on springs eibach, tein, pi, hks, etc..

Many thanks,

Think long and hard before fitting 19's AND lowering as its likely to ruin the cars handling and ride quality.

I have mine on 19's with standard UK suspension and it rides better than some cars ive been in with 17's and so called uprated suspension, although many people think 19's are to large?

Do your homework first and talk to some people in the know.

Chris Wilson has vast knowledge on this subject (do a search?).

Its no good having a car that looks good if you cant use it?

Happy reading
