Air bag light on

I took my dash apart to remove the spoiler ECU turned on ignition to check the triangle was out put the dash back together and now the airbag light is on ive unplugged the battery for an hour or so and its still on how do I turn it off ???

1. Connect a couple of wires to the terminal Tc and AB on the check connector. Don't jump them together!!

2) Turn IGN to ON or ACC and wait approx. 6 seconds.

3) Starting with Tc, connect other end of wire to ground alternately to Tc and AB and hold for 1 plus or minus .5 secs each. Do this so that each terminal is connected to grd twice. At the end of cycle, keep applying ground to Tc (third time for it, but keep it grounded.)

TIP. (Make sure you connect the next wire to ground within .2 secs after disconnecting the other one. Basically, you do it fast.)

4) After several secs, when the airbag warning light starts to blink in a 64 ms cycle, procedure is done. Just keep trying if you don't clear the first time. I had to try it 3 times.

Had this on my old car buy I could never get the timing right. Lol. Then those instructions are more detailed than the ones I followed

I struggled with this at first, eventually I used the DLC3 (Diagnosis plug under the steering), removed the kick panel and grounded on the earth bolt.

Worked a treat, was able to cancel the light in one go..
