High pressure block off caps

Hodge wants to put a cap OVER a hard pipe, not bung up the end of a flexible pipe. What I don't understand is where this pressure @ 8000 RPM comes from? Is it the water pump? Unless totally blocking the flow from the pump it will generate virtually no pressure, just flow around the system. Coolant system PRESSURE comes from heat expansion of the coolant, the rad cap will lift at about 1 bar...

but it does work , you just put that in the silicon pipe that you attach to the hard pipe thus blocking it,

but what i think hodge is after is something like the dust cover that goes over the brake nipple just abit more robust to go over the water line nipple

if thats whats in your links sorry as i cant click on links at work

Yes that's whats in the links, like a rubber thimble, much nicer than adding a piece of hose

with a bolt or top hat in it :)
