Thinking of changing from OEM spoiler to TRD, opinions please.

I thought I'd finished with the styling for my car but am now thinking of changing the OEM spoiler for a TRD one.

Over summer I fitted OEM Skirts, Trial rear bumper, RMR front lip and a UK bonnet vent.

So what do people think. OEM or TRD?

Also, I have no carbon fibre on my car at all so if I went for TRD would all silver or solver sides and carbon blade be best?

I know someone will say no spoiler but I don't like the look of Supras with no spoiler and OEM and TRD are the only 2 I like.

The picture with the stock spoiler looks great. I am not normally a fan of silver supra's but yours looks stunning.

After chatting with you and having a good look at your motor,we parked next to each other at the falcon id say trd all silver and did you find out about abs fuse in the end?

Not a fan of TRD spoiler anyway but with the balance of the kits you've put on I honestly think OEM will look best. Nice looking car.

I looked under the cover of DaveR's car and he has the same as me, just one ABS relay our of 2 so I guess it's normal. I want to get the car in to Whifbitz when funds permit for a total once over so I'll mention it then.

Plus I have noticed that some TRD spoilers fir better than others and my OCD would go into overdrive if I got one that was bad fit.

I did vote TRD with carbon blade but after looking at your other pictures on the link I'd say stock too. The reason is because the trial bumper & skirts "swoopyness" would flow well with the stock spoiler. I had a TRD on my previous supra and it looked awesome with the stock rear bumper, think the trial suits the stock better.

I was toying with a TRD spoiler myself, but being honest, I think the stock one looks the best - Toyota got that right out of the box

I vote stock, but if you do go TRD, get a carbon blade. IMO they just look rubbish without it.

I think I phased that wrong, I just find especially with oem skirts the original spoiler looks the best but if you had top secret skirts for example I think the Trd spoiler can look great too.

Anything is better than a Veilside or spoilerless IMO.

no problem! id stay stock too, ive had both, and the stock wing is alot lighter than the trd!

Keep it stock. As already said by others, the stock spoiler suits the trial rear more than TRD. Great looking car though 199 buddies

Personally I think the stock spoiler would look better on your car.

My opinion of course

My opinion both can look great, but with trial rear there's advantages and disadvantages;

Stock:

Looks good side view angles

Looks rubbish front and back view

TRD:

Looks good front and rear view

Looks rubbish at side view.

I think it looks good with either so it just comes down to personal taste.

How about NO spoiler?
