Another thread about Focal Access Speakers

I know there's been loads of stuff on this before, but this question hasn't been answered as far as I can see.

Has anyone fitted 165CA (co-axials) front and back? If so, how does it sound?

I kind of don't get the point of components if the tweeters are down in the kickwell - it just seems like extra expense and hassle. But then I don't really know what I'm talking about so feel free to correct me.

But please answer the main question first!!

tweeters should be at ear level, which is why the 165CA's have tilting/rotating tweeters.

I personally would buy the 165A's (component) and put the speakers in the back and leave the tweeters out.

I had the component in the front and the 2 way equivalent in the rear. The rear speakers are up higher anyway, and as said you can rotate the tweeter to fire at your ear. Sounded real nice :cool: :D
