I recently brought a aftermarket bonnet and it comes with the latch and test fitted it and its fine, it locks and etc. Would i still need aerocatchs or would the latch it enough to keep it down while driving at the national speed limit and maybe a little more? :D

I've thought about this in the past, and I'd probably attach a short length of chain between the slam panel and underside of bonnet, with a carabinier or similar, so that if the catch was to fail, the bonnet wouldn't lift too far.

I know aerocatches are good, but I think they ruin a bonnet

Why not get the flush fit catches, and colour code them ;)

It'll possibly rip the chain straight out the underside of the bonnet, stay stock or fit aero catches, stock ftw
