Anybody around Bradford /Leeds to Help view a Supra?

Hi fellas, as some of you may know, my Supra was recently crashed into, and broken up. So I am on the hunt for a new Supra. I have already seen one which I intend to buy, but need to view the Supra first to make all the necessary checks.

Here comes the problem: I am in London and the Supra is in Bradford. To get there and check myself, will be a 10 hour round trip, plus the fact that my son's birthday is tomorrow, and I generally can't leave London until next 2 weeks. So I will be eternally grateful (to the tune of 10 pints of beer or an exotic, unforgettable evening in Ed's dungeon :D ) to any forum member who knows their way very well around the Supra and who can make a thorough check for me on the said Supra.

If you live thereabouts and can go there anytime between now and next week, kindly let me know. Thanks

Although I am wary of generalisations, I would fancy my chances of finding an attractive woman on a night out around Wigan compared to finding a decent quality, straight car in Bradford.

Just flush your petrol money down the gurgler and pretend you viewed it.

It's a bit of a generalisation I guess, but a friend of mine who buys and sells cars all the time always said to me never to buy cars from Bradford, Luton or Slough, for good reason! :D

The very first car I brought was from Bradford... Never again!! Got totally ripped off!

Me and Naz went to give it a full inspection

Bodywork

A few minor scuffs here and there the worst being on the rear bumper driver side. Where there is the most god awefull fog light

But other than that its quite nice. A beautiful colour kind of between my gunmetal and the usual silver. Possibly quicksilver?

No apparant accident damage visible to me but do a hpi to be sure. Underneath there is a bit of surface rust i think due to careless jacking on the sill rails. I beleive this was down as an advisory on one or two mot certificates. Its been in the country since 1999 and o dont think its neen undersealed well enough. Not to my standards anyway. Not a difficult job to clean up and sort though.

Interior

Nice and clean not smelly or ripped. From what i could tell but it was a little dark

Seemed to reflect the mileage.

The test drive

Now, as soon as it was started i could tell something wasnt quite right

There is an idle problem it was like it was hunting, the seller said it started when he had drove it around and it ran out of fuel. He mentioned there may be a blocked injector. Whilst driving it felt absolutely fine. Very responsive and gearbox is spot on

Suspension is nice and quiet, no dodgy knocking or any other odd noises

Quite nice i must say. Only fault i could see it would veer slightly to one side. Most likely tire pressures or slight tracking out

Nothing too bad. All fluids are nice and clean. With it being a facelift the engine mounts are just showing their age. A very slight vibration when holding on the brakes in drive but stll not too bad. I have video of the missfire and body which i will upload when i find my datacable.

The seller seems to be nice bloke, not the typicall bradford yobo. The garage is quite large with full bodyshop facilities

There are quite a few nice mr2's being worked on which they seem to specialise in.

Overall its a nice supra which needs a very small amount of work to make it mint. I give it 8.5 out of 10 if the missfire is sorted.

just checked out his website, what a cheek some of the engines and cars pictured are ones I've built and hes bought from my customer when they've sold up and hes passing off as his own, one of the engines i did all the turbocharger setup for even has my name stuck on it haha

Is that a good or bad thing? Are you suggesting tha your engines are rubbish or good?
