Mk4Gaz Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) Bought these with many thanks to MattP for getting them sent to me quickly Unfortunately my original panels were showing signs of ageing, and the rubberised coating was wearing off. I tried to wrap them in carbon vinyl, and despite my best efforts, it didn't last more than a few days, before it started to bubble. Fortunately, these replacements had already been prepped for paint previously, which I was glad about, as getting the rubber coating off is somewhat mind numbing! . The paint work wasn't the best - no offence matt, so I thought I'd tidy them up a bit. Prepped and primed, and then painted them in 2k vauxhall sapphire black metallic, purely because I was also painting a bumper for someone, so it seemed to make sense! A quick flat and polish last night, and fitted today.
