I can leave mine for ages and its still quite warm and in this humid weather boost is not as good or is that just me being a noob to a TT having only had a n/a before? Nic Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 It's those hot gasses (circa 900C) that are spinning the turbos and the turbos give off a lot of radiant heat. Has anyone tried fitting turbo blankets on the stock turbos? The blankets would need designing to avoid all the pipework and actuators but keeping the heat within the turbine housing and not radiating into the engine bay, should improve the performance of the turbos and help reduce intake temps.
