ashbuster Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 im in the middle of removing the engine, i disconnected the ecu connectors and noticed a pale brownish oil on the ecu connectors and wires also it seems thin any ideas what the hell this is? ashbuster Posted July 11, 2013 Author Share Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) its not along the wires guys , its on the connector and a little way up the wire about 2 inches max, it has me baffled 1 thing im wondering is my aircon. now for some strange reason it worked fine. and now its gassless for some odd reason so im guessing ive had a leak somewhere. could this be aircon oil? does the aircon come through in this area? i see pipework in the bay for this going to that area Edited July 11, 2013 by ashbuster (see edit history) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mellonman Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 I found some of this too on mine when checking my ecu conections, I think it might be cam cover gaskets leaks as I found mine where also my cam pos sensors where full of oil dont know how that happens ?
