Being on the forum for quite a time now and tagging along on Dragon13all I thought it would be time to properly introduce the car and it's build. Started off as a '93 SZ 5 speed in silver, freshly imported from Japan with a quick stop in the UK in 2009. It had and still has quite a low mileage for its age but the body of the car was not all that nice. Multiple shades of silver, a few dings and dents etc. The aftermarket speakers and radio were fitted poorly and a lot of other stuff was just not like it should've been. Not to forget... purple headlights:blink:! I suspect it had a female owner in Japan:p.

First thing to sort was the exterior. A Blitz bodykit was ordered but the rear bumper was 3 months late. The car would be painted with the stock bumper and the Blitz rear would be added on a later stage. Turned out te be a BIG mistake. First some pics.

Then the new color. Orange! Still the bluish purple headlights but whatever.

As you can see from the pictures it gained a new universal 2 deck spoiler which was meant to spent it's life on a Honda or something but it everything looks more badass on a Supra. Also the very special raingutter exhaust pipe was fitted to match looks and sound. With brand new 19 inch Mania wheels now. But it still wasn't cool enough. So on went the stickers:

At this point the car was becoming one of the most well known Supra's in the Netherlands. It was present at nearly every show that was possible to attend. If the VAG enthusiasts allowed Toyota's on their meets you bet the Supra would've been there also:d.

And then out of nowhere a rear bumper finally appeared out of Japan. Happy times! Sure thing that was not "overnighted" with it's darn 3 month delay however.

But then disaster struck... The stickers on the sides of the car had to be removed to place the bumper and spats. The whole paintjob came off with it:(.

The "painter" refused to have anything to do with it and nothing was heard from him ever again. So it was time to start all over again! No more stickers, this thing was gonna be a real piece of art.

It was turned over to Xotic Customs, a well known and respected painter who is considered one of the best in what he does. Customs.

The whole a car was stripped to bare metal. Ariel and rear window wiper hole welded shut. A new rear spoiler, new exhaust, new bonnet, new color for the rims. The whole bodykit was made one piece with the cars body. The right way this time.

And there she was again. Reborn as new. With black headlights.

That was about most of the history of the car, as for today she is still under construction. I am not the kind of owner who is easily "done" with something. There is always more to do.

The rims we're pretty banged up around the edges and the gold paint was not holding. Same thing for the interior. Both we're redone in (metallic) black.

New speedo along with it.

The rims after the sandblasting. And painted in matt/metallic two tone black (still needs to be polished though).

Some minor engine bay mods.

Next up was some nice ICE equipment. For the people that we're on Dragonball and saw my rearseat-removed-sub-install that was not final. It was constructed in the last 2 days before leaving for France :D. I'm currently building a whole new box that should fit nicely behind the back seat.

I will keep you guys posted for what's to come. And trust me, there is plenty :eyebrows:.

And for all the NA haters out there: I bid you good day.
