HELP: Speed Converter/Delimiter Issue

Fitting the UK speedometer to the car has caused issues with the readout on the speedo as the converter is changing the speed from KMPH to mph....so with the new MPH dial fitted the speed is reading low eg the km section is showing the true mph.

We have found the converter located behind the dials and it is a Speedmate Basic V3...I need to bridge past the converter but my question is "which wire controls the converter and thus the speed signal"!?

The wires are

Black

Purple

Red

Brown

Blue

Grey

Any help/suggestions would be great.:)

Does it not give you any clues on the box mate? I set this up on Littler's car to delimit but not to change the MPH, as he fitted a UK spec Speedo. If you ask him nicely he might let you know the colours, as he 's probably polishing his car anyway! :)

I was only washing it :p

Bump - Littler - PM coming your way!

I can't remember the wire colours for definite without having a look, but I think it was a 'blue with bits of orange' wire that needed connecting from the clocks so I'd say look for the same colour wire coming from the loom and joined to a wire that's coming from the converter :)

If not ill take mine apart to look but I won't be able to do that until later in the week :(
