Anyone any thoughts on them?

They're relatively cheap - Is it a case of you get what you pay for? Will they last?

True, you may get what you pay for, but if you pay £150 for a set of lowering springs vs £700 for BCs then you are getting what you pay for.

Ellis and myself both run BCs and have found them to be great. With lowering springs the car was very skittish, never quite behaved on rough surfaces. With the BCs the car sits right, handles very well and doesnt jump around on rough roads.

So its a hearty recommendation from me.

+1 here. Been running BC Racing Coilovers for a few years now (got them from Paul at Whifbitz) and its exactly as JB said as I had lowering springs on the car beforehand (fitted in Japan)

I'd be interested in a group buy. Sorry if this is a stupid question (and I know it probably is) but will these allow the car to be set up to sit right if swopping between 17" & 18" wheels?

With any wheel size change, a proper geo set-up would be advised to ensure correct wheel camber, toe-in/out etc as well as height. Will ensure good ride and handling and protect from irregular tyre wear.
