walbro question

Just to add to the confusion I bought one of these after the new Walbro I installed seized solid after about 12 hours of use.

For a bit more money these seem to be a far better design (impeller rather than gears), flow more at similar pressures and are also a direct replacement for the stock fuel pump.

The only thing I will say is that I needed to supply the pump with a constant 12v power supply, done using the existing wiring at the tank plus one new relay, to get it to run properly.

I may have just been unlucky with the Walbro, it is very rare to hear of them failing, but I'd still chose the Aeromotive design over the Walbro everytime.
