cant keep the bloody bonnet shut

If it's not latching, load the latches up with WD and work them back and forth with a screwdriver or some pliers

tried that , few months back I noticed it was up on my side , thread on here somewhere , but sinse then it just wont stay down, probably have to change it , don't want it blowing over

have the locks slipped down mate? try loosening them and lifting them up and tighten them again see if it helps

not sure , is there much movement on them ?

when i fitted my new bonnet i had to lift them up slightly mate, didnt move up much at all i had to force it but it was ok after that

Your not the only one bud, my vac lines on the BMW are shot no 2nd turbo! It's glorious weather here! Beer garden it is!

well I tried it , didn't seem to move a lot , but it seemed to shut tight after a few goes , so ill give it a run later , hopefully its worked , ended up cleaning my van lol

might be time to get some aero catches bud i still need to get some for mine because i dont trust my catches

dont like the look of them , but might be the only safe option

I have been having problems with my latches recently. After giving them a good clean up and smothering them in grease, touch wood they have been fine.

spoke to keron in the week , he told me to wd40 the white box that's in between the two catches as theres something in there that can stick , did that but still seemed the same , the pull lever atm is back flush so I think its shut , so ill see what happens later after a few speed bumps .

if these aerocatches are fitted do you do away with whats there ?
