listy
I'm not looking at getting aftermarket pulleys for a while yet, as I have more cosmetic plans to sort out first, but I want to clean up the bay a bit. Is it ok to simply paint the oem pulleys? (So long as I don't paint the surface the belt runs on) or is this ill advised? I just want to paint them black, or maybe white. Any recommendations on what paint to use? I'd guess a high temp paint would be ideal, would Hammerite be ok to use?
Fizzy T
I don't see why you couldn't paint them.
Tricky-Ricky
Painted a few pulleys in the past, you can use smothrite or spray them with 2K.

DaveR
I love where this has gone! I'm sure painting them would be fine. I'm considering doing the bolts on mine to smarten up the whole appearance.
listy
I love where this has gone! I know lol The whole point of me simply painting them is for a cheap fix. If I had the spare cash for chroming etc then I would just buy a DAW set of pulleys, or the UOR set in the for sale section. I'll take the "painting should be fine" as the answer I need. Cheers for the help guys
