As tile says, due to the fact that been doing 2pm till 2am all week at work finished at ten last night and am awake getting ready to change rear lower arms on supra and re grease rear brake sliders in aid to stopping this noise when turn. plus start work at 2pm today aswell. lets just hope it goes well and doesnt take to long to do

Mine came off no problem, it was the lower fronts i had dramas with.

Don't forget you'll need to get the geo done once you've done this

Well i had fun shall we say the lower arms were a right pain to remove but got their in the end with some good old brute force and ignorance, the small lower arms balljoint was completely shot,so glad replaced that now. Also replaced the other lower arm only one didnt change is the one that the suspension bolts to, and re greased my rear brake sliders(they were very dry).

Took car for little test drive round block and she seems fine the back is so much stiffer and its banging around so much,didnt hear the noise when corned but the proper test will be when take car to work. If no noise and drives seems ok will go get the geo done 1st thing next week and hopefully can enjoy the supra again

How'd you get the ball joint out of the back of the hub dude? Mine appears to have seized:(

I undone the nut to the end of the thread, then released the other end of arm. Then using big screwdriver and hammer whacked end of ball joint bolt few times and out she poped. Wasnt easy becsuse of the space plus mine was seized aswell. Hope that helps bud.

Get someone else to drive it and see what they think

When does it happen ? left handers right handers, in straight line, under braking, under acceleration.

Is the noise constant or change with speed etc etc

I going to have to bud,it happens when turn left, doesnt do it a slow speeds and if corner fast its lounder plus heard it going over bump in straight line today for 1st time. I am so anneyed with it had it for while and been to few garages and they cant find anything wrong

Have done a simple bounce test on it, see if its a damper on its way out

Yea done that test mate,and no joy dout it be the suspension itself as got coilovers and they were only fitted just over 2years ok

Rubber top mounts worn?

They my next check bud. Stupid question but whats the best way to get to the rubber mounts to check them please?

I think you have to remove the coilovers, but that means you can check them for leaks etc at the same time

I was hoping their was going to be easier way, but at least taking them out isnt to bad of job. Will do that sunday i think

Have you checked if theres any play in the rear drop links? Those could be a culprit too

I havent checked no to be fair, but now the noise is happening in straight line sometimes, i have funny feeling its the diff but am really hoping its not as only got the diff of keron 8months ago and no way a n/a can kill 2 diffs in a year

Also, I had same kinda noise, thought for sure it was my diff, turned out to be thefront top TEIN Coilover nut had loosened

Had the same noises on my NA and it was coil over bolts. Worth a check!

Its standard na diff and will pull suspension out sunday and check that. Just really need this problem sorted as its really getting me down now

Go round the car and bolt check it, get it on a ramp for an hour and torque up every nut and bolt
