What boost controller?

Hi all,

Just went to purchase a Blitz DSBC Spec S and realised that the manual said that it shouldn't be used with Twin Turbo setups. This brings me to ask: What does everyone else use? I'll likely go for a Spec R, but I thought I'd do my research first. Did a search on the forum, but didn't bring up the answers I was looking for.

Greddy Profec Spec B is a popular one people run for BPU

I liked the HKS EVC6 with my BPU setup. There may be an updated (7) version now...

I'll likely be putting this inside the glovebox somewhere anyway. I was stupid enough to sell a DSBC Spec R with my MR2, which would actually look alright with the stock looking dash that I'm rocking.

HKS EVC 6 or Greddy Profec B spec 2 are both good units.

A profec B is all you need, simple and effective.

To be honest ignoring the fact I recommended the greddy, the HKS EVC 6 would really optimise the car setup as iirc it allows you to set boost against gearing and revs if wired in fully. There is just a good price difference when buying new but you could pick one up at a good price secondhand. The Greddy is a very good unit and better than most but doesn't allow the gearing and rev control

Exactly. Plus the HKS easy writer software and cable can be had fairly cheap now.

Fully programable boost through the rev range plus a scramble option.

I know what i would rather have....

Sorry OP, I don't have a recommendation as such though as others have said the Greddy & HKS are the most common ones.

On another note it would be a great if we could have a round version of this to fit into the Supra dash... would look very OEM and nice with loads of different read outs.
