Rear Strut Torsion Bar - intrusion into boot

As said I don't think there are any that would fit underneath the carpet. The Carbing rear brace sits lower than most, they also bolt to the cross member for extra rigidity, very light in weight too.

I have the DoLuck one fitted which is exactly the same as the Carbing. Sits flush with the surface if the carpet and out of them all would be the one that would sit the lowest IMO

Nic, can you get Carbing ones? And if we're looking that that I may need TRD ARB's after an expensive chat with CW!

Just found out by chance the bar I have across the top of the rear seats is an "Abflug Rear Hatch Reinforcement Bar" - Or Abflug Decapitation Bar as I call it.

If anyone cares to consider the tension and compression loadings across the rear strut tops they will realise any of these are a total waste of time and money. The loadings are vertical or lozenge torsional, and that bit of ill conceived soft oval alloy tube will do nothing save what some have realised, get in the way.

Play fair Mr Wilson, they look nice, especially the carbon one...............

Chris, appreciate your comments... will bear it in mind.

On a side note if someone made an X brace using the turret tops and the rear seatbelt top mounts (where the belt comes out of the plastic) would this have a positive effect or again not add the desired effect? Just curious.
