Veilside wheel arches and oem sides - kit application query>>>PLEASE HELP!!

I just purchased a Trial front and rear bumper and veilside arches. My car currently has OEM sides and spats. I'm removing the current spats, and front & rear bumper. Please can someone tell me if it is possible to fit the veilside arches onto the supra which already has the oem sides?

My bodywork chap said the veilside arches overhang the sides by some 3-4 inches (i.e closer to the ground than the oem sides!) However, blending the arches to the trial rear is fine.

Does this mean I need Veilside sides aswell?? or is it a case of modifying it to fit?

Any advice would be very much appreciated

Thanks

Yeah anything can be done, just chop it about abit and figure out what needs to go where and bond it altogether. Everybody part on my car is a mix and match and I managed to do it all myself with a bit of time. A bodyshop should be able to do it easy.

Thanks for the advice guys. Seems like my body shop guy is trying to get out of it......SNM. Kerching kerching I guess lol

Sounds like you need a different body shop fella!! Though it does sound like the kind of work most people won't take on as it is time consuming and difficult to the fitment right. Rog's looks fantastic but IIRC the bodyshop had to spend a fair amount of time to get it looking like that which is expected if you aren't bolting on a kit but blending and mix an matching. Either way all doable and if you aren't doing the work yourself then it will be down to how much you want to spend getting it done.

Yeah as Abz has said, ShellShocked really took a long time to get it right and cost wise it expensive to do in comparison to just bolting on
